Price and availability

Screen and size

The 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen. The 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch screen. This is the main reason to choose one or the other.

These durations are maximums announced by Apple. In real use, with social media and 5G, they will be shorter. But the gap remains real.

If you spend long days away from a socket, the Pro Max saves you from hunting for a charger in the evening. If you charge every night and often stay near a socket, the 16 Pro's battery life is plenty.

Photo and video

Both iPhones have exactly the same camera system. You will not get better photos with the Pro Max.
