Why choose the Google Pixel 6 Pro?
Who is the Pixel 6 Pro for?
The Google Pixel 6 Pro price in Cameroon at Gafloow Store is 145,000 FCFA. It is the high-end model of the Pixel 6 generation, released on 28 October 2021. It has a 6.7-inch 120 Hz LTPO screen, the first Google Tensor chip, 12GB of RAM and a 5,003 mAh battery. It weighs 210 g, supports 5G and is water and dust resistant (IP68).
It is for people who want a big, smooth screen and a zoom: its triple camera combines a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra wide and a 48 MP telephoto with 4x optical zoom. The selfie camera is 11.1 MP. It comes in three colours: stormy black, cloudy white and sorta sunny (golden yellow).
Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 7 Pro: which one?
The Pixel 7 Pro has the Tensor G2 chip, a 5x telephoto and gets one more year of support from Google: until about October 2027, vs October 2026 for the Pixel 6 Pro. It sells for 160,000 FCFA, vs 145,000 FCFA for the Pixel 6 Pro. Both have the same 6.7-inch 120 Hz screen.
Prefer a more compact phone? The Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch 90 Hz screen and costs 110,000 FCFA, but has no telephoto.
Good to know before you buy
Google promises 5 years of system and security updates from the phone's release on the US Google Store. For the Pixel 6 Pro, that means until about October 2026. After that date the phone keeps working, but it no longer gets new security updates. If you use it for Mobile Money and banking apps, choose a model supported for longer, such as the Pixel 7 Pro or a Pixel 8.
The Pixel 6 Pro is sold brand new and sealed in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB: choose the storage on this page and the price updates. Before you buy, ask your adviser which version is delivered (nano-SIM and eSIM depending on the country of origin) and check that your network (MTN, Orange or Camtel) offers eSIM if needed. The warranty and delivery are explained below.
